Nikki Carter Insurance Agency is an independently-owned insurance agency based in New Tazewell, TN. As an insurance broker, we have access to top insurance carriers specializing in home, auto, business/commercial, and life.
We take our expertise in the insurance industry and consult with you on the insurance needs you have. We'll then compare rates across multiple providers, saving you time and money and ensuring we provide you with the best coverage at the best rate.

Nikki Warren Carter

Born and raised in Claiborne County, Nikki Warren Carter began her career in insurance in 2008. After becoming an agent for one of the largest captive insurance carriers in the nation, Nikki saw the benefit of being able to offer her clients multiple options for their insurance. Understanding that her clients' insurance needs change over time, being an independent agent means she can meet her clients where they are in life and continue to nurture the relationships she so deeply values.

At home, Nikki is wife to Sammy and mom to three children. She is an alumna of Lincoln Memorial University. Nikki Volunteers her time as the Competition Cheerleading Program Director at CG Elite Athletics and a coach for the 14Y traditional competition team.
Nikki has always had a passion for helping people. Her goal is to educate her clients on insurance, listen and understand their needs and goals, and provide excellent customer service.

Brittany Johnson
Customer Service Specialist
Brittany joined our team in July 2025 and is licensed in Property and Casualty. She brings with her 14 years of experience in the banking industry, along with a strong commitment to client service. Brittany has already proven to be an incredible addition to the agency—her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine kindness shine through in every interaction, and our clients and team alike are better because of her presence.

Outside of work, Brittany is a proud wife, celebrating 14 years of marriage this September, and a devoted mom to her sweet daughter, Madison, who turns 5 this month. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, working jigsaw puzzles and diamond art, and indulging in her favorite treats—Crunch Bars and sweet tea.
